Circudhar was born from years spent working inside India's refurbished and second-life electronics market. Handling retired IT assets for businesses of every size, our founding team kept encountering the same frustrations play out again and again — opaque pricing, unreliable vendors, incomplete compliance paperwork, and genuine value quietly slipping away at every stage of the disposal process.
Rather than accept those gaps as an unavoidable cost of doing business, we chose to study the problem properly. Over many months we researched and analysed the ecosystem end to end: assessing recycler capabilities, mapping the regulatory landscape, benchmarking scrap valuations, and listening closely to the operations, finance and sustainability teams who live with these challenges day after day.
